NOVAREIGN STREAM NEW SONG “THUNDER & MAJESTY”

The wait is almost complete. Years in the making Los Angeles progressive power metal group NOVAREIGN are about to unleash ‘Shifting The Axis Of The World’ next Friday, July 17^th. But before doing so the quartet have shared another new song “Thunder & Majesty” to appease the masses or to maybe just further tease fans with the impact and power of the band’s illustrious work. “’Thunder & Majesty,’ written by Mr. Balmore Lemus, is one of our favorite songs from the new album to not only perform live but for its impactful message as well! We feel it really ties in one of the album’s core messages of breaking free from the weight of yesterday and to conquer tomorrow’s possibilities,” explains singer Icarus Marquez. “We hope when you all hear this song it does what it has for all of us in Novareign, give you a constant reminder that tomorrow is another day and to always look towards the sky’s horizon.”

“Thunder & Majesty” joins previous singles “Ironsides” and “Sun & Moon” (with its accompanying music video watch HERE) all from NOVAREIGN’s epic achievement out next week. ‘Shifting The Axis Of The World’  (mixed/mastered by Alex Nasla (Immortal Guardian, Witherfall, Helion Prime)) offers just shy of an hour’s worth of marvelous musicianship, flavorful guitarwork, challenging time changes, a palette of moods, anthemic melodies all leading to a grandiose audio journey. NOVAREIGN gained quite a bit of traction with their 2018 album, ‘Legends,’ which was praised as “a bombastic mix of epic metal” (BraveWords), “an instrumental fireworks show” (Metal Bandcamp) and “one of the most addictive power metal records I've heard in a long time” (Two Guys Metal Reviews).
 
Additionally, the ensuing live shows that followed its release including dates with Michael Schenker, Exmortus, Angra, White Wizzard, Rhapsody Ov Fire, Act of Defiance, Bonded By Blood, GloryHammer, Graveshadow, PowerGlove and Holy Grail, in addition to festivals like Mad With Power, Hyperspace, Ruinfest and Frost And Fire.

In the downtime, NOVAREIGN endured a couple of lineup changes implementing new drummer Ulises Hernandez (ex-Judicator, Anubis), while guitarist Balmore Lemus split his time with Judicator, Lunar and Dire Peril. On and off NOVAREIGN have been writing and recording the follow-up to ‘Legends’ and after too much time a new effort is here.
