Groove is a great way to describe this New Wave of American Metal. Although hardly new now, a lot of bands have followed the path of those who came before like PANTERA. Fast forward now and a lot of these bands are meshing different pieces of the Metal umbrella and developing their own identity. One such band made up from a piece of Nu-Metal history is Dez Fafara's DEVILDRIVER. On the eve of their latest album 'Strike And Kill' through Napalm Records, this new chapter with a new lineup is set to blaze a trail as one of the best albums of 2026.
